Blows Down

Community consultation, working with volunteers to conduct visitor surveys with nearly 600 individuals.

The resulting report produced aimed to build on previous work completed by the English Tourist Board assessing the ongoing impact of visitors at the site. Increased visitor pressure as a result of the guided bus way construction required careful management for people and wildlife.

Engagement with local communities ensured the delicate balance between enhancing the wildlife value of the site and promoting positive use of the site by people was maintained.
