After securing funding to develop their project through a Round One National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) grant this project has involved working with the volunteer team to develop and write a full Interpretation Plan.
We have developed innovative ways to interpret the built, social and natural heritage both within the church buildings, churchyard and surrounding area.
We have produced plans to widen the welcome to St Leonard’s Church, Flamstead. To engage a broad cross section of the local community and those beyond the local area. To improve access both physically and intellectually.
The 50 plus page document includes 20 distinct projects, each engaging a variety of audiences. Key messages and themes to deliver on their aims and objectives sit alongside visual representations of each scheme. This fully costed plan will form part of their Round Two NLHF bid. The plan will be submitted alongside their Activity Plan and further large scale plans for capital works to secure the building for future generations.
