Working with the board of volunteer trustees, wider volunteer teams, staff and contractors to help develop the community engagement and volunteer strands within a total £1.5 million National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF, formally HLF, Heritage Lottery Fund) grant capital and project budget.

This included the development of Volunteer programmes; Volunteer Policy, Volunteer Welcome Booklet, Volunteer Recruitment Brief and Volunteer Role Descriptions.  

A full and comprehensive review of NLHF Activity Plan. 

Preparation of documentation to support staff and volunteers in delivering engagement activities including Working with People instructional advice, Risk Assessments, Missing Person procedures, First Aid procedures and Lone Working.

Development of a Data procedure and guidance alongside a review of all Safeguarding and Health and Safety documentation to ensure the back office systems and appropriate checks and balances are in place to support the project going forward.
